Getting A Disney Credit Card For Your Kids
Getting A Disney Credit Card For Your Kids
All teenagers need to get some sort of pocket money, or allowance, on a weekly basis. If this is not the case in your home, it is recommended that you start giving your child a Disney credit card. Now, it does not need to be Disney, it can be any type of credit card, but professional recommended giving your child some responsibility by handing them cash on a weekly basis.
Money can be a bit dangerous to walk around with, as it has come to parent’s attention that people are willing to kill for a few Dollars these days. This is why most parents are now giving their children money in the form of credit cards. Now, when you hear credit card you think loads of cash, but this does not need to be so.
The Disney credit card that you give your child does not have to have a load of cash on it, because you can get a preloaded credit card, that does not have a set limit, like the credit cards that adults have.
When you choose a preloaded card, you will have more control over their spending. You can place a certain amount on the card each week for their allowance and also load the money they get as gifts in small amounts at a time to prevent them from blowing it all in one day.
If you want to help them to be more responsible with spending money you can of course place all the money onto the card and warn them that once it is finished you will not load any more on until the next month.
This will then teach the child how to handle cash, and the point of the whole exercise is to not give your child more money when the credit card is maxed out on Tuesday afternoon. There are still a few days to go, and whatever that child needs for that week will have to wait until the next week, and if it is food, then they will have to take food from home.
With young children a Disney credit card is a great bet, because they come printed with almost of the Disney characters, which will make it fun and exciting for the child. They are growing up, they are becoming responsible, but they are doing it in a fun way, and who said that responsibility cannot be fun?
